I see painting as a peculiar medium, through which I can express my thought and my beliefs.
My paintings, on one side, express the aesthetic perfection of nature, and on the other side, they talk about the rough and egocentric intervention of man into living nature. They talk about our becoming, conception and, at the same time, they warn us of our end and decomposition.
When I paint I exploit the chance, that springs during the painting process itself as a unique barcode of nature, which I later complete and upgrade with my artistic expression. The artistic world of symbolic language signs is thus a new and artificially constructed world, which became with the transformation of reality. Artistic symbols in paintings, work like artificial simulations, that can unleash anew the life experiences and contents of the viewer. The result can be seen as an effect, coincidentally made by nature, making unrecognisable what is portrayed and what is not. (Example: We are buying visually nice, perfect and healthy tomatoes, but we can not determine if they are genetically altered or not).
The artworks represent the genetically altered aesthetics of nature.
